On the 3rd and 5th of March 2021, Mathematics Department held a virtual seminar in collaboration with Yokohama National University (YNU) Japan. In this seminar, Associate Professor Kenta Ozeki from YNU gave a topic of Combinatorics in a game format while lecturers from Mathematics Department played role as supervisors for the students. Along with 7 students from YNU, Ozeki divided the participants into 21 small groups to discuss and solve the game.
150 students from Mathematics Department took part as participants and competed with the YNU Students to win the game. Professor Seiya Negami from YNU and Professor Benny Pinontoan from UNSRAT who were the initiators of this seminar were very pleased as the seminar went well and hoped this could strengthen the bond between the two universities as well as to build friendship among students and lecturers.
